Tips for knitting with Scarfie Yarn

This bulky yarn is great for many things, but while working with it you will want to keep a few things in mind.

First, this is a color changing yarn. That may seem obvious, but you can't control how or when the colors change. The colors usually work up amazingly, but if you are knitting a pattern that will take more than one ball, the color changes can be a bit different, as you can see in the first pattern, the Brenton Top. I like the differences, but if you want it to turn out like a perfect self-striping yarn it isn't the best for that. My favorites are one-skein patterns for this yarn.

Second, keep the fiber content in mind. A lot of people tend to think this is a 100% acrylic yarn for some reason, bt the wool content makes it more suitable for certain types of projects.

Overall I really do love Scarfie yarn as I mentioned above, and if you haven't tried it you need to give it a go!

Let's check out these amazing patterns!
